Coach Harris and Coach E have the passion, experience and dedication to take your game to the next level. Do you?
Jamie Harris is a sports performance trainer dedicated to helping athletes work towards becoming the best version of themselves on and off the field. Coach Harris learned at a very young age that hard work, dedication, and patience were the keys to success in sports and life - and strives to pass those traits on to athletes in his program. Over the last 30 years, Coach Harris has accumulated a wealth of knowledge as a player and coach, growing as a leader along the way. Jamie was recognized as an All-State Safety and All-League Running Back and Safety at Olathe North High School. At the University of Kansas, he was a starting Cornerback for four years and couldn’t have been more pleased to be part of the Aloha Bowl Championship team in 1995!
After his playing career was over, Jamie decided to put his bachelor’s degree in human development and family life to good use and start coaching. Jamie volunteered his time with numerous youth football teams over the years and then moved into the high school coaching circuit. Coach Harris was the Assistant Coach at Olathe South High School (2004-2006), Olathe East High School (2015-2019), and most recently at Gardner-Edgerton High School (2022), where they competed in the 6A State Championship game - only the second time in the school’s history to make it to state. Jamie’s love and passion for the game of football and helping others led him to establish KC Hawks in 2023. In addition, Coach Harris offers individual 1 on 1 or small group sessions to athletes who are looking to increase their performance in speed, agility, strength, conditioning, and mentorship. If you’re interested in boosting your skills and working with Jamie, set up a consultation meeting and we can get started.
Eric Holmes is a performance and sports skills trainer. He was an all-league and all-state Defensive Back and kick returner. Coach E was also a back-to-back 4x100 State Champion in track and field from Wyandotte High School. Eric attended the University of Kansas from 1994-1995 and was also on the KU Football team. He attended Fort Scott CC from 1995-1996. After college, Eric moved to Portland, Oregon. Along with his brother, they created S4E (Strive for Excellence) that trained football and track athletes from 2003-2009. While in Portland from 2010-2013 Coach E scouted and helped train athletes from the Portland metropolitan area. In 2014, upon returning to Kansas City, Eric started coaching with the Wyandotte County Panthers, a youth football organization in KC until 2020. Eric is the proud son of former Kansas City Chiefs first round draft pick Woody Green who was a running back from Arizona State University. Growing up and learning from his father and brother (who also coaches football in Arizona) his wealth of knowledge and experience is unmatched around this area. Eric hopes to teach and reach young men in the KC area to help them obtain their full potential on and off the playing field.
